Itinerary 1
Itinerary 2
It’s hard to imagine a more romantic or relaxing break than this. With two nights in Rome – the Eternal City the City of Light and another two in Venice – the City of Light, your holiday will definitely have the most beautiful of beginnings. From gondola rides past picturesque architecture through to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, there are lots of ways to enjoy spending your time in these terrific Italian cities.
From Venice, you’ll board the MSC Lirica cruise ship for a full-board cruise around the glittering Mediterranean waters. After sailing to the historic Italian gem of Bari, you’ll spend some time at sea, cruising towards the breaktaking Greek Islands. Soak up iconic, majestic caldera vistas in stunning Santorini, explore the atmospheric city of Chania with its Venetian quarter, and visit the unspoiled gem of Kefalonia and town of Argostoli. Then its on to the Adriatic seafront treasure, Split, where history meets cosmopolitan flair. You’ll be well catered for aboard the MSC Lirica too, which boasts a plethora of top-class facilities and services, from a selection of bars and eateries to a casino, disco and theatre, plus an indulgent spa – something to suit everyone.
MSC Lirica
MSC Lirica brings you a distinctive cruise experience along classic lines, centred on elegance, comfort and hospitality in the finest traditions of MSC Cruises’ Mediterranean way of life.
An atmosphere of relaxed spaciousness pervades, with magnificent internal vistas from the foyer and unimpeded ocean views from the lounges’ floor-to-ceiling picture windows. But you’ll also find an abundance of intimate spaces, like the swish Beverly Hills Bar or traditional English-style Lord Nelson Pub, the perfect haven for a pre-theatre drink.
Modernity and tradition mingle on this ecological ship. The Broadway Theatre is an ultramodern reinterpretation of traditional lines. The panoramic gym and MSC Aurea Spa with its heavenly beauty treatments and massages are bang up to date. While the Blue Club Disco is a wholly futuristic experience.
The gourmet dining, on the other hand, brings you the authentic flavours of timeless tradition, with a wide variety of Italian, Mediterranean and International specialties freshly prepared from the finest ingredients.
The world-class entertainment on board offers delights for all ages, from classic Shuffleboard to the dazzling Las Vegas Casino, stunning live music, virtual reality games and a pirate-themed playroom, plus special clubs for Kids, Juniors and Teens so that everyone can live the cruise they’ve always wanted.
Experiencing something new to savour every moment aboard, it will come as no surprise to hear travellers grow lyrical that this very special cruise ship is the heart of their voyage, no less than the incredible destinations she takes them to discover.
